South Transcona Community Centre
As a member of the South Transcona community for the last 24 years, a volunteer and a board member at the South Transcona Community Centre, I feel that our ODR deserves some recognition. We have volunteers who have given countless hours to maintain and upkeep the rink on their own time, in the worst weather […]

Both associations teamed up to raise […]

This small city rink was saved by concerned neighbors from destruction 30 years ago to keep it a vibrant asset for the community and became part of an Adopt a Park program the city of Winnipeg had instituted. The rink is lovingly maintained by 5-7 committed volunteers who shovel, snow-blow, flood, fix boards and nets, […]
Skating on the Crescent
In 2017, a group in our hometown started an outdoor which we have grown and expanded over the years. Weather permitting, we have a skating rink, skating path, curling rinks, fire pit area and a change shack. We also made a Zamboni to get the ice as smooth as possible.
Argyle ODR
Argyle ODR is known to have the best ice in the area. Our ODR is located in the community of Argyle and attracts folks of all ages and from many surrounding communities (Winnipeg, Stony Mountain, Stonewall, Balmoral, Grosse Isle, Warren, Woodlands and many more). We absolutely could use these funds for our ongoing maintenance
