In January of 2022, the Vancouver Canucks announced the hiring of Émilie Castonguay as Assistant General Manager, the first female Assistant General Manager in team history. The CARHA Hockey World Cup is being staged in Richmond, BC, in March of 2023 and CARHA Hockey has had the pleasure of connecting with the Canucks in advance of the tournament. This is an exciting time for hockey as women continue to break barriers and encourage others to follow their dreams!
