PCU Park ODR

Coming out of work at the end of the day and hearing kids laughing, skates cutting the ice and pucks hitting the boards is so refreshing! The kids love this little area and the community loves watching them use it. This mini ODR was built on an old gas station lot that was not saleable therefore a park was created. The boards were manufactured and installed by the Grade 10 IA class, the fire department floods the ice every year and maintaining it is a community effort. In this photo two grade 8 students are seen putting a fresh flood on. Its humbling to watch the entire community enjoy such a unique space.
