Patinoire extérieur Fernand-Léger/ Fernand-Léger outdoor rink

The Fernand-Léger Outdoor Rink opened in the winter of 2001 as a result of a group of citizens who dreamed of having an outdoor skating rink in Saint-Antoine. A committee of volunteers had been formed for the maintenance of the ice surface. In 2011, a concrete slab was poured and new aluminum boards were installed. A group of volunteers spends hundreds of hours each winter flooding and cleaning the ice. The Fernand-Léger Outdoor Rink committee organizes several activities every winter, including a weekend of outdoor activities in early January and a hockey tournament in February. Approximately 2500 youth, adults and seniors use, enjoy, laugh and play at this community facility each year.
