Patinoire du quartier

About 7 years ago, the neighborhood of West Street in Hearst decided that we should raise funds to purchase an outdoor rink for our kids. With the support of many local businesses and private donors, we accomplish our goals in only 3 weeks.
The rink is maintain by volunteers, who built the ice surface every years. These individual also shovel the on ice show, and player benches and even built a small zamboni to make the kids enjoy the rink on a daily basis
At the time we indicated that all of our donators would see their name on the board for advertising. We had issues with stickers on the boards and finally opted with some kind of Plexiglas. With the extreme cold in Northern Ontario, most plexiglass broke. We would use these funds to create a sign with the list of donors.
