The Bishop Mills Community Rink is a small outdoor rink just outside of Kemptville that is completely cared for by a few local residents. The Robinson family and a few other neighbors are often seen caring for the rink at all hours and keeping Social Media up to date so families know when they can get out on the rink. Many kids head out to this rink regularly to play and many comments have been heard about it being worth the short drive out of town to go for a game of shiny or just a nice skate on the well-cared-for ice.
Volunteers (Mark, Mari and their children) put in countless hours for others on early mornings and late evenings in between their jobs, their dedication and commitment for the benefit of others is truly admirable.
