Women Hockey Coaches a Blessing

Thunder Bay Queens is an organization that provides an excellent hockey experience for girls and young women that desire to play hockey at a high level. It’s an organization that has produced many players who have gone on to continue to play at a high level after they graduate high school. Many of these players like to give back and help coach the younger up and coming girls. Speaking from experience, my daughter (now first year U15AA) is lucky enough to have two of these young women coaching her team. Until this point, these young women have only been assistant coaches. I would use the prize money to assist young women like these in getting the coaching credentials required to, one day, become the head coach of one of these competitive teams. This would be an amazing feat for these ambitious, young women and it’s a feat that the players would be excited for and proud of. Thanks for your consideration. Cory
