Established in the mid 2000’s, WOWHA provides a safe space for women identified hockey players to play like a pro in Ottawa! Our players are young and old (18 to 70), who either started playing hockey as a kid, or learned later in life. With an intermediate level of play, and a respect of the game we play fast, hard and safe! Our common passion for the game brings us together as a community. WOWHA is a registered non for profit and takes pride in offering great inclusive hockey in a responsible manner. I am submitting this application as member of the League executive. The funds would be used to support league operations to lower registration costs for our players for the 2024/2025 season. Thank you to all the Game Changers out there.
