At FOG Hockey, I am committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and equitable environment for all participants in this shinny program. I recognize the importance of diversity and the value that each individual brings to our community. FOG Hockey welcomes individuals of all gender identities and expressions to participate. I recognize that hockey is for everyone, regardless of gender, and I am committed to providing a supportive environment where all players feel comfortable and empowered to play the game they love. I would love to add 4-5 more ice blocks to focus 110% on skill development and game play for new female players in our community with friendly volunteer coaches to make playing adult “timbit” shinny even safer and more fun, and provide it for free. This would help the women to have the confidence they need to play in the local women’s league start/continue with the FOG Hockey Program.
