Our women’s rec hockey team is interested in putting on a mixed gender youth rec 3 vs 3 hockey tournament in town. Numbers for girls playing in our minor hockey system have always been strong. And there has always been a group of girls and boys that haven’t had the chance to play organized hockey because they got started to late. This tournament would give that group of kids a chance to play in an organized tournament and have some fun. If we won the $1000 we could use the money to pay for a portion of the ice and even have a mini wrap up pizza party to thank the kids for coming out.
