The ML Sox Softball program has grown from a couple of teams in 2020 to multiple teams from U9 Softball up to U17 Softball, including three teams that are competing at the provincial level, with an enrollment of 105 girls in 2022.
To encourage girls to take up the sport, Meadow Lake Minor Ball is committed to providing the best uniforms, equipment and facilities. While our boys baseball side is well established, this is a major undertaking for the new program, softball. We have already purchased uniforms, equipment and built a brand new diamond.
This application is made as a request to help us continue to grow the sport of softball for the females of Meadow Lake and surrounding area.
