Growing Opportunities

In our small Alberta town- the majority live the hockey life. We’ve found that our hockey club starts off with large numbers and by U13 numbers are reduced significantly. The biggest hit is female members. We put tremendous effort into promoting and encouraging female hockey last season. There was an overwhelming amount of support not only within our community but the entire region. The wish was to create teams this season for the girls and we are happy to say that it is possible. If we won, we would use the monies to provide the region with more Introduction to Female Hockey clinics to help promote and grow the sport we love.
