Dignified Dressing Room Project

The Town of Wakaw believes all participants in recreational activities, including involvement in hockey, should be treated with dignity. Currently, the town uses alternate dressing rooms to allow female players and officials to dress in preparation for practices and games. Even though this system has worked, the Town of Wakaw wants to do better. It is working to transform an existing storage room into a high quality dressing room where female players, and officials, can feel at home, respected, and dignified. The project requires a full renovation, including the installation of shower, sink, toilet, flooring, and benches. Of course, new paint will be applied. As for the need for storage, proper storage cabinets will be installed to fulfill the needs of our minor hockey association.

Thank-you for your considering our project for this contest.
