The Shamrock Centre

Our local community recreation hub, the Shamrock Centre and staff have worked tirelessly the last year and a half sifting through the ever changing rules and regulations and public health orders, doing their best to keep recreation a real opportunity for our residents and facility patrons, working to achieve recreation with so many limitations, and fielding the public at large when programming needs to be put on hold. Shamrock Centre staff is responsible to implement said Covid-19 guidelines and enforce all policies and regulations. Staff at the Shamrock have been laid off, and then working, laid off and then working…Covid-19 has made facility operations, budgets and staffing very trying at times and staff has gone above and beyond to ensure that the entire community is taken care of in terms of recreation, sanitation, and Covid-19 compliance.
