I convene the Thornhill Over 50 Hockey League. The league was designed initially for those over 50 years of age but in resent years we have opened the league to women of all ages. As we are a 4 team pick up league, our goal is to have 8-12 women in our league within a few years. Although many women may find in intimidating playing with ‘older men’ or non contact and friendly game assures everyone has a good time. In recent years our league has changed demographics as we have a considerable number of Muslim, Jewish, Indian and Chinese players.
